- Coordinating and managing the execution of special events or functions
- Overseeing procurement and setting pricing strategies in line with budget constraints
- Collaborating with chefs to develop menu offerings
- Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate financial and stock records
- Recruiting, training, and supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff
- May be involved in handling reservations, welcoming guests, and assisting with order-taking
- Ensuring that dining areas meet health and safety standards and are well-maintained and visually appealing
- Engaging with customers to evaluate their dining experience and service satisfaction
